Family Medical Care was founded in 1985 with the philosophy of providing a primary medical setting that was appealing, comfortable and competent to provide for the 90% of health needs the average person or family would ever need. The clinic is designed and decorated to convey a comfortable atmosphere, free of the "clinic sterility" so common in most medical settings today. Located in the geographic center of Fort Smith, Arkansas we can be easily reached from all points of the compass.

Our staff is selected from only the very best of experienced medical personnel and gives emphasis to the phrase, "We specialize in you!" They are interested in you as a person and with time look forward to becoming your friend and advocate in today's complex health care delivery system. We can help you navigate the maze of managed health care insurance, advise you on what is good and help you receive the maximum coverage for the health plan selected by you or your employer. We will provide you with economical, but quality health care and refer you to only the best specialists you desire or those designated by your health plan.
